I literally keep loose nuts in my bag/pockets/car all the time. I’ve found that apparently this is not the norm. SO in an attempt to conform, I tried dishing up some up… in bowls… at home. And because I had the luxury of an oven and free reign over my spices, I got creative. So for a perfect snack (TO BE ENJOYED ANYWHERE YOUR HEART DESIRES) I would really recommend spicing and toasting your favorite nuts.

Spiced Nuts
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 heaping cup of nuts/seeds (almond, cashew, pistachio, pumpkin)
- 1 T and 1 t melted coconut oil
- 1/4 t turmeric
- 1/4 t heaping curry
- 1/4 t cinnamon
- Pinch of coriander and cardamom
- Salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat 350 and roast for 15-20 minutes.
**Get crazy, you nutty nut! Swap out any/all of these ingredients for what you love. For sweet, include a drizzle of maple syrup or balsamic vinegar. For spicy, pull out your cayenne, chili powder, and smoked paprika. Seriously – anything goes.
