I like condiments. I like flavors. I like to dip, douse, drizzle, and dodge (jk, I’ll leave that last one to Vince Vaughn). But really, you can never have enough sauce and TBH, packaged dressings can be *shockingly* filled with not-so-good ingredients. Luckily, marinades, dressings, aiolis, YOU NAME IT, are super easy to make yourself! So go on and grab your whisk, and give this sauce a swirl!
Maple-Mustard Sauce
Yields 3ish tablespoons
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 T stone-ground mustard
- 1 t pure maple syrup
- splash of balsamic vinegar (to loosen the mixture)
DIRECTIONS:
- 1. Whisk everything together.
- 2. Increase ratio for larger portions.
- 3. Drizzle atop sweet potato fries, add to salads for a zingy vinaigrette, or use as an easy dip for a fresh crudite board.
