Maple-Mustard Sauce

I like condiments. I like flavors. I like to dip, douse, drizzle, and dodge (jk, I’ll leave that last one to Vince Vaughn). But really, you can never have enough sauce and TBH, packaged dressings can be *shockingly* filled with not-so-good ingredients. Luckily, marinades, dressings, aiolis, YOU NAME IT, are super easy to make yourself! So go on and grab your whisk, and give this sauce a swirl!

Maple-Mustard Sauce

Yields 3ish tablespoons

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 T stone-ground mustard
  • 1 t pure maple syrup
  • splash of balsamic vinegar (to loosen the mixture)

DIRECTIONS:

  • 1. Whisk everything together.
  • 2. Increase ratio for larger portions.
  • 3. Drizzle atop sweet potato fries, add to salads for a zingy vinaigrette, or use as an easy dip for a fresh crudite board.
